Project Write-Up

Resurgens Orthopaedics | Neck to Toes 0:15

We were right on beat with this 0:15 TV commercial for Resurgens Orthopaedics

This tv commercial was by far the most ambitious that we’ve produced for local medical industry superheroes, Resurgens Orthopaedics. Though we only shot at one location, we had to bring our technical and visual effects A-game to bring this spot to life. Through some clever framing and post-production magic, our “patients” look on at their future non-injured selves with hope. And thanks to the jaw-droppingly awesome RED Monstro 8K VV camera we shot on, this spot looks as good as Resurgens helps patients feel. While our full "Neck-to-Toes" 0:30 commercial catalogs the journey of 3 such “patients,” this 0:15 spot focuses on just one. In this cutdown, our injured drummer can't help smiling when she sees her future self rocking out again. And to be honest, neither could we once we saw how cool the visual effect on her wrist looked! Project Story

Discover how Resurgens Orthopaedics’ 0:15 commercial uses focused storytelling, technical precision, and strategic planning to connect with patients and maximize video impact.

Help marketing teams decide how to plan, produce, and deliver a concise, high-impact medical marketing video that earns attention and drives engagement.

Why Every Second Counts in Medical Marketing Videos

In healthcare marketing, a 15-second video must do more than look good—it has to connect instantly. Resurgens Orthopaedics’ Neck to Toes 0:15 commercial proves that a brief spot can carry a powerful message when it’s tightly focused on audience needs and emotional impact. The key production truth: your video must earn attention immediately by showing clear proof of patient transformation and hope, not just brand logos or generic claims.

Planning Versions Before You Shoot

Successful campaign videos start with a pre-production strategy that anticipates all the formats and platforms where the content will live. For Resurgens Orthopaedics, this meant planning for a hero 30-second spot plus multiple cutdowns, vertical crops for social, captioned versions for silent autoplay, and sales follow-up edits. By locking these deliverables early, the shoot and edit workflows stay aligned, saving time and budget while ensuring consistent messaging across channels.

Technical Excellence Meets Storytelling

Resurgens’ spot was shot on the RED Monstro 8K VV, a high-end cinema camera that delivers stunning resolution and color fidelity. This technical choice allowed for creative framing and visual effects—like the seamless transition showing a patient’s hopeful future self—that elevate the story without distracting from it. Production teams should always match camera and lighting choices to the emotional tone and brand standards, ensuring every frame supports the narrative.

From Strategy to Delivery: Aligning Stakeholders and Goals

Before production starts, clarify who the video needs to reach, what it must prove, and how success will be measured. For Resurgens, that meant identifying the patient audience, confirming brand guidelines, and defining approval workflows. This alignment prevents costly re-edits and keeps the project on schedule. Post-production should focus on pacing, color grading, sound design, and clear calls to action that drive viewers to the next step—whether that’s booking an appointment or visiting a landing page.
