ECG Productions | Food & Beverage Reel 2015

Food and Beverage Video Production headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia

Taste was born out of a desire to bring ECG Productions world-class level of concept development, production and execution to the food & beverage space. We love eating out. We love wine. We love craft beer. We love cocktails, farmer’s markets, food trucks, pop-up restaurants…well, you get the idea. We’re passionate eating and drinking and, quite frankly, we’re tired of seeing boring food & beverage content floating around in it. Sure, the good stuff is out there, but it’s the exception rather than the rule. We’d like to change that. We’d like to put our years of experience making movies, television shows and music videos to work for YOU and YOUR brand. That’s where Taste comes in. We’re a division of ECG Productions, so you can expect that same level of service, attention to detail and commitment to exceeding our clients’ expectations that you’re used to - but now you can also get solutions that are customized and tailor-made for your specific food & beverage-related needs. Need a food stylist? A test kitchen? Need to pack your restaurant with camera-ready patrons on a moment’s notice? We’ve got you covered. We’re Taste, and we’re here to make you look your best while making your life easier. Its that simple. Food & beverage video content…tastefully executed. Project Story

Discover how ECG Productions crafts compelling food and beverage videos that connect audiences, elevate brands, and streamline production from concept to delivery.

Help marketing and production professionals decide how to plan and execute effective food and beverage video content that truly engages viewers and supports brand goals.

Why Food & Beverage Video Demands More Than Just Pretty Shots

Food and beverage video production isn’t just about making food look delicious on camera. It’s about telling a story that connects with your audience’s senses and emotions quickly. In a crowded market, your video needs to earn attention within seconds by aligning the message, visuals, pacing, and call to action. At ECG Productions, we’ve seen that the best food & beverage videos combine cinematic craft with strategic marketing insight—because a beautiful shot alone won’t drive results. Whether it’s a craft beer launch, a restaurant promo, or a cocktail brand story, the video must prove its value and invite viewers to engage.

Planning Multiple Versions Before You Shoot

One of the biggest production mistakes in food and beverage video is treating the final edit as a single deliverable. Today’s campaigns require multiple versions tailored for different platforms and uses. Think hero videos for websites, short cutdowns for social, vertical crops for stories, captioned versions for silent autoplay, and thumbnails that pop. Planning these versions during pre-production and even before the shoot ensures your footage and edit accommodate all formats without costly reshoots or compromises. ECG Productions integrates this multi-format mindset from the start, streamlining production and post to deliver exactly what your campaign needs.

How ECG Productions Supports Your Food & Beverage Video Journey

ECG Productions brings a full-service approach to food and beverage video that covers creative development, production, post-production, and final delivery. Need a food stylist who knows how to make dishes irresistible on screen? We’ve got you. Want a test kitchen setup to experiment with shots and lighting? Covered. Looking to fill your restaurant set with authentic, camera-ready patrons? We handle casting and logistics. Our team understands the nuances of food and beverage storytelling and the technical demands of lighting, color grading, and sound design that make your brand look premium and trustworthy.

Key Questions to Clarify Before Production Begins

Before you start filming, ask: Who exactly needs to care about this video? What does the audience already know or feel about your brand? What proof or story will convince them to act? Where will the video be watched—social, website, trade shows? Who will approve the content internally, and what defines success beyond just finishing the edit? Answering these questions early shapes your production strategy, from script to shoot to edit. It also helps ECG tailor our services to your unique needs, ensuring every frame and soundbite works toward your business goals.

Using References to Sharpen Your Vision

Bringing reference videos or reels to your first conversation with ECG is one of the smartest ways to communicate your vision. Point out what you like about pacing, tone, interview style, animation, or sound design—and just as importantly, what feels off or doesn’t fit your brand. This contrast helps us understand your target faster and avoid generic solutions. For example, a fast-paced, upbeat craft beer video will differ greatly from a warm, intimate chef’s table story. References become a shared language that guides creative development and production decisions.
