“And they all lil’ freaks…”
There’s really no other way to put: things got freaky in this music video. Sure: we’ve done some awesome music videos for 16 OS in the past. But when we heard the blasting beats and catchy hook from “Lil Freak,” we knew we had a special track on our hands.
Conceptually, this video hinges on the empowerment of female sexuality. The ladies let their freak flag fly as they play other girls’ body parts like instruments (the leg as a guitar visual is one of our favorites). Visually, “Lil Freak” uses light sandwiching to create some stunning lighting effects.
Once we had those going, our Ursa Mini Pro camera captured it all in glorious 4K resolution. No matter your gender, race, age, or orientation, “Lil’ Freak” is a testament to the freakiness in all of us.
