Project Write-Up

Bauerfeind GenuTrain | Personal Trainer :15

The ECG team did their homework in pre-production (as usual) to ensure this ambitious overnight shoot for Bauerfeind went smoothly. This spot (along with another featuring basketball players) was shot on location at Windy Hill Athletic Club. The main challenge this project presented was packing all key information about the Bauerfeind GenuTrain brace into only 15 seconds. Our writing team did a great job making the scene feel natural, while still getting all of the information needed across to the audience. Contact ECG Productions for your pre-production needs. Project Story

Discover how to craft a concise, effective 15-second marketing video like Bauerfeind GenuTrain | Personal Trainer :15 by focusing on audience, message clarity, and production

Helps marketing and production teams decide how to plan and execute a high-impact 15-second brand video that delivers clear messaging and drives viewer action.

Why Every Second Counts in Short-Form Brand Videos

When you have only 15 seconds to tell your brand’s story, every frame and word must work hard. Bauerfeind GenuTrain | Personal Trainer :15 is a prime example of how to pack essential product information and emotional appeal into a brief spot without feeling rushed or forced. The key production truth: short videos demand razor-sharp strategy upfront to connect quickly with the right audience and make the message stick.

Pre-Production: Setting the Stage for a Smooth Shoot

ECG’s team emphasizes thorough pre-production to avoid surprises on shoot day. For Bauerfeind’s spot, this meant clarifying who the video must reach, what they already know, and what the video must prove. We scoped location logistics at Windy Hill Athletic Club and aligned the script’s natural tone with brand guidelines. This preparation ensured the shoot stayed on schedule and captured all necessary elements efficiently.

Crafting the Message: Natural, Clear, and Persuasive

The writing team’s challenge was to make the scene feel authentic while delivering key product benefits swiftly. Rather than overwhelming viewers with jargon, the script focused on relatable moments and clear calls to action. This approach respects the audience’s time and intelligence, making the video both memorable and actionable.

Planning Deliverables: Beyond the Hero Cut

One finished video file isn’t enough for modern campaigns. Bauerfeind’s project included planning for multiple versions: vertical crops for social, captioned edits for silent autoplay environments, thumbnail images, and shorter cutdowns for paid media. Discussing these needs during pre-production and editing ensures the final assets fit seamlessly into distribution channels and marketing funnels.
