At ECG we love getting the opportunity to shoot content that makes a difference. We most recently had that opportunity with this overview video for American Breast Care’s “Face of Inspiration” program. Shot in 4K on the Sony FS7, this piece follows Phyllis, a breast cancer survivor, and her sister as they are pampered, fed, and given a tour of the American Breast Care factory.
Shooting in so many different spaces in a single day can be challenging, but with ECG’s own Lauren Byers acting as producer the shoot went off without a hitch. It was very important that our crew was as non-intrusive as possible. These women were being treated to a relaxing spa day, so we wanted to keep the cameras and crew as out of the way and unobtrusive as possible. By allowing the day to unfold naturally, we were able to capture the sincere excitement from the sisters without making them self-conscious or uncomfortable about our presence. Watching Phyllis and her sister interact and react with such enthusiasm made this story engaging not just to watch, but also to produce. Working with such wonderful women for such a worthy cause is always a treat.
