Book Promos

We know our way around an awesome book promo video around here. Since we started working with James Patterson and his publishing friends at Hachette Book Group, we’ve created dozens of spots for the uber-prolific author’s new releases. These are some of our favorite videos to create because of the pure fictional aspect of them. They allow us to get creative with our visuals, camera movements,lighting, sound design — you name it . We’ve even had the pleasure of bringing to life some of Patterson’s best known characters. 

Since so many of the books are thrillers, lots of these spots focus on gorgeous moody lighting and GFX, sometimes of the gorey variety. Our goal is generally to get across the thrill and danger inherent in the books while still making sure the spots resonate with Jim’s biggest fans. We think these book promo videos hit the sweet spot.
