Project Story

Discover how AT&T | Unite Express exemplifies strategic video production—aligning audience, message, and distribution to create compelling marketing content that drives results.

Help marketing and production teams plan and execute video campaigns that effectively reach their target audience and meet strategic goals.

Why Strategic Video Production Matters

Video marketing isn’t just about creating something visually striking—it’s about crafting a message that earns attention and drives action. The AT&T | Unite Express campaign shows how strategic planning connects the audience, message, and distribution channels before a single frame is shot. Without this alignment, even the most polished video risks falling flat. Understanding who needs to care, what they already know, and where they’ll watch the video sets the foundation for every production decision.

Planning Versions Before the Shoot Saves Time and Budget

Modern campaigns demand multiple video versions: hero spots, cutdowns, vertical formats, captions, and thumbnails tailored for different platforms and audiences. AT&T | Unite Express was designed with these variations in mind from the start, allowing ECG’s production team to efficiently plan shoots and edits that serve all deliverables. This foresight avoids costly reshoots or re-edits and ensures consistent brand messaging across channels.

Blending Practical Effects with Digital Precision

The AT&T | Unite Express video features a unique combination of handcrafted puppetry and seamless digital compositing, all shot in 4K at ECG’s Atlanta studio. This blend of practical and digital effects demonstrates how production teams can innovate within budget and timeline constraints to create memorable content. Coordinated puppeteers, precise lighting, and post-production polish come together to deliver a showpiece that stands out in a crowded advertising landscape.
