Project Write-Up

Resurgens Spine Center | 0:15 X-Ray Commercial

It’s never a surprise when clients come back to us for more work. This time, however, we put the back in come back. After crafting some award-winning spots for the overall Resurgens Orthopaedics brand, we dug into the health care giant’s sub-brands. First up: Resurgens Spine Center. What started as an animated project evolved into this awesome live action spot, shot on location at Resurgens Spine Center. Add in some precise tracking work from our animation team and a killer visual effect to end the spot, and we have another winner on our hands. Or should I say on our backs? Project Story

Discover how to craft focused, effective healthcare marketing videos like Resurgens Spine Center’s 0:15 X-Ray spot. Learn practical production steps from strategy to delivery

Helps healthcare marketers and production teams decide how to plan, produce, and deliver a concise, impactful video campaign that connects with the right audience and meets strategic goals.

Why Every Healthcare Video Needs a Clear Strategic Focus

Healthcare marketing videos must earn attention fast and build trust instantly. The Resurgens Spine Center 0:15 X-Ray commercial shows how a brief spot can connect with patients by clearly defining who needs to care, what they already know, and what the video must prove. Before production starts, align your strategy around the audience’s needs, the brand’s promise, and the distribution channels. This clarity drives every creative and technical decision, from script to shoot to post.

Planning Multiple Versions Before the Camera Rolls

One video file rarely fits all campaign needs. For Resurgens Spine Center, we planned hero spots, cutdowns, vertical crops, and captioned versions in advance. This approach saves time and budget, ensuring every deliverable suits its platform—whether social media, paid ads, or internal training. Discuss these versions early with your production partner to coordinate shoot coverage, edit workflows, and approval timelines efficiently.

Combining Live Action with Visual Effects for Impact

What began as an animated concept for Resurgens Spine Center evolved into a live-action shoot on location, enhanced with precise tracking and a compelling visual effect to close the spot. Mixing real footage with subtle animation or effects can elevate your message without distracting. Plan these elements in pre-production to secure the right talent, equipment, and post resources, and to keep the final edit seamless and polished.

Aligning Production with Distribution and Approval Processes

A video’s success depends as much on how it’s delivered and approved as on how it’s made. Knowing where your video will live—website, social, broadcast—and who needs to sign off helps tailor the production schedule and file formats. Resurgens Spine Center’s campaign benefited from early conversations about brand guidelines, stakeholder reviews, and final delivery specs. This alignment prevents costly last-minute changes and speeds time to market.
