Rule of Business #1: Remain Calm
Our most recent collaboration with PGi highlights the ease of use and reliability of their newest GlobalMeet software release. Our goal was to creating two worlds, one in which the fictional team uses GlobalMeet and one that is using other software (to less than desirable results). At ECG we’re often called on to shoot under difficult circumstances. We pride ourselves in running a professional, low impact set. Not only were we able to make this project happen, we were able to capture what we needed almost entirely during business hours without causing a major disruption for PGi’s hardworking staff.
Successful marketing starts with creating a scenario that consumers can relate to. The chaos of a workspace that is fraught with technical issues is an experience many of us can understand. Camera department created a locked down frame for both “worlds” to create a consistent feel between both the chaotic and calm sides when shown in split-screen. On the calm side art department and hair & makeup kept things clean and minimal, while on the hectic side they had the opportunity to really amp up the messy decor, disheveled wardrobe & hairstyles and the production design in general.
