When ECG gets to work with a company that has as many and varied production needs as PGi, we relish the opportunity to cultivate our great working relationship with their team. The planning process goes smoothly because we have an intimate understanding of the brand after working with PGi for over 8 years. We also have nuts and bolts knowledge of the layout of the building, who to contact with questions or needs, where to park, etc. so that nothing comes as a surprise on shoot days.
As always, our production team plans meticulously in the days leading up to production. The only way to pull off a single day that consists of 65 different setups is to be as organized as possible. To make so much happen in one day, we typically film out of script order. This allows us to design the day to run as efficiently as possible. Being nimble is the key to knocking out an ambitious schedule and the crew is always ready to execute company moves quickly. Keeping all our ikan LED lighting battery powered rather than hard-wired makes it much easier to move from setup to setup as the day progresses.
StageNext is PGi’s annual global sales conference and these videos serve not only to entertain the audience but also get them pumped about what’s in store for the next year to come.
