On Set with ECG Productions: Shooting in Spanish for the Emory Autism Center

We've produced video content in multiple languages for years. We shot this Spanish language video for the Emory Autism Center. Check it out!

It was a beautiful Saturday as ECG set up to shoot for the Emory Autism Center. The video will serve as an introduction to the center’s Spanish speaking parents as a means of making them aware of their child’s development as well as the assistance the center provides.

The day started with the standup of the talent reading the Spanish script on the teleprompter.

Then we set-up for the multi camera shoot, where our talent will reenacted a parent/teach conference regarding the child’s development. It was an impressive feat to pack 3 cameras, lights, and boom stands into the small room, but the resulting footage looked great and didn’t feel cramped at all.

The shoot went off without a hitch thanks to the cooperation of the Emory Autism Center’s wonderful staff and an excellent performance from our two bilingual actors.

Editing this footage will be interesting because it’s entirely in Spanish. However, the translated script and our Spanish interpreter will ensure an accurate edit of the video. The final step will be to closed caption the video and to share it so that parents who suspect their children may have autism will be able to get assistance from the Learn The Signs, Act Early program provided by the CDC.

If you need assistance with a foreign language shoot, or any shoot for that matter, ECG is here to deliver!
