QA Symphony | Why We Work at QA Symphony

Finally: an HR video that's candid & captivating

Working at QA Symphony is pretty freaking awesome. At least, that’s how it seemed to us when we visited them to shoot this recruitment video. There’s a ton of energy there, and we were able to capture the spirit of the company with ease, and had a blast doing it. After all, when that many people who love what they do get together, you can’t help but have a good time. We captured some really genuine moments in stunning fashion thanks to the Ursa Mini Pro. A combination of candid interviews and footage of the QA Symphony team at work helped make this video a huge success. Client: QA SymphonyProfile: Corporate Video

Project Story

Discover how to plan and produce a recruitment video like QA Symphony’s, aligning strategy, production, and distribution for maximum impact.

Help marketing and production teams make smarter video decisions by showing how to align strategy, production, and distribution using QA Symphony’s recruitment video as a model.

Start with Who Needs to Care and Why

Every successful video begins with a clear understanding of its audience and purpose. For QA Symphony’s recruitment video, the key was identifying who needed to watch and why. Is it potential hires, internal teams, or external stakeholders? Knowing this upfront shapes every production choice—from script and tone to visuals and pacing. Before spending a dime, clarify who the video must engage and what it must prove to them.

Plan Versions and Deliverables Before the Shoot

Modern video campaigns demand multiple versions tailored to different platforms and uses. ECG recommends planning hero edits, social cutdowns, vertical crops, captioned versions, and thumbnail images before production starts. For QA Symphony, this meant anticipating how the video would live on landing pages, social media, sales decks, and internal channels. This foresight saves costly re-edits and ensures consistent branding across all touchpoints.

Capture Authenticity with a Blend of Interviews and Action

QA Symphony’s recruitment video shines because it balances candid interviews with dynamic footage of the team at work. This mix creates a genuine narrative that resonates emotionally and visually. Using high-quality gear like the Ursa Mini Pro helped capture stunning, natural moments that feel both polished and real. Authenticity in production builds trust and connection, essential for recruitment and brand storytelling.

Integrate Strategy, Production, and Post for Seamless Delivery

A video’s impact depends on how well its strategy, production, and post-production align. ECG’s approach connects creative development with shooting, editing, color grading, audio mixing, and final delivery—always with distribution and approval workflows in mind. For QA Symphony, this meant ensuring pacing, tone, and call-to-action matched the brand’s goals and that all stakeholders could review and approve efficiently.

Use Clear References to Guide Creative Direction

Providing examples with notes on pacing, tone, interview style, animation, sound design, and calls-to-action accelerates alignment between client and production team. For QA Symphony, sharing what worked and what didn’t in similar videos helped ECG tailor the production to fit the company’s culture and recruitment goals. This clarity reduces guesswork and keeps the project on track.
