Project Write-Up

ParkMobile | Meetings

Is there anything worse than not having anywhere to park before a big meeting?

This commercial for the ParkMobile app hits on all cylinders. Not only does it highlight the many useful features of the app, but it’s beautifully shot and entertaining, too. We knew we had a winner when we left the writers room with this spot, as well as it’s irreverent counterpart, “Out on the Town.” A short, focused spot like this really lets us buckle down on great visuals, captured with the Canon C200 camera, and color-graded to perfection by the incomparable Jenn Lee. The result is a tight commercial that makes us feel just as successful as Brooke! Client: ParkMobileProfile: Commercial Video

Project Story

Discover how to shape your video strategy like ParkMobile | Meetings—defining audience, message, platform, and production priorities before spending a dollar.

Helps marketing and production teams decide how to clarify video goals and audience before starting production.

Start with the Audience: Who Needs to Care?

Every successful video begins with a clear understanding of its audience. ParkMobile | Meetings nails this by focusing on busy professionals who dread the hassle of parking before important meetings. Defining who needs to care shapes the tone, messaging, and visuals. Before production, ask: What does this audience already know? What misconceptions must the video address? Where will they watch this content—social, website, or presentations? Pinpointing these details ensures your video speaks directly and effectively.

Turn Ideas into a Production-Ready Plan

A great creative idea is just the start. The ParkMobile | Meetings spot shows how to transform a concept into a concrete plan. This means connecting the story to a real viewer, establishing a clear deliverable, setting deadlines, and defining the approval process. Production teams need this clarity to allocate resources wisely—whether that’s choosing the right camera gear like the Canon C200, planning color grading, or scheduling post-production. A detailed brief prevents costly surprises and keeps everyone aligned.

Production Value: Quality That Matches Your Brand

ParkMobile’s commercial balances high production value with a focused message. Using premium equipment and expert color grading elevates the brand without overshadowing the story. When deciding your production value, consider your audience’s expectations and where the video will live. A social media clip might prioritize quick pacing and bold graphics, while a website hero video can lean into cinematic visuals and sound design. Align production value with your brand’s positioning and budget to maximize impact.

Approval and Review: Streamlining Feedback Loops

One of the biggest production pitfalls is unclear approval processes. ParkMobile | Meetings emphasizes knowing who signs off and what success looks like before filming starts. Define your review stages—script, rough cut, final edit—and identify key stakeholders early. This clarity speeds up revisions and prevents scope creep. Use collaborative tools that track comments and version history to keep feedback organized and actionable.

Where the Video Lives: Tailoring Delivery and Distribution

Understanding where your video will be seen shapes every production choice. ParkMobile | Meetings was designed with specific platforms in mind, influencing length, format, and call-to-action. Whether it’s a 30-second commercial for digital ads or a longer explainer for internal meetings, tailor your edit, aspect ratio, and delivery specs accordingly. Planning distribution early ensures your video performs optimally and meets platform requirements without last-minute fixes.
