In the second branded content video for James Patterson’s The Chef, we took a stab (pun intended) at a simple yet tasty dish. We all know that Catfish Po’ Boys are super tasty; but who ever thought that making them could be so intense? This spot’s Director of Photography, Emily Payton, went all out with this one, using some red gels to underscore the menace of the scene. Then, during the final audio mix, Joe DiCosola did some excellent foley work to amp up “the chef’s” moves. We still squirm every time we hear that catfish hit the stainless steel table!
